There are more and more English-speaking workplaces in Denmark and English-speaking jobs are becoming more and more common since larger companies like Carlsberg and Novo use English as their corporate language. And according to a survey done in 2001 by Børsens Nyehdsmagasin 30% of the chief executives of Denmark’s largest companies expect to adopt English as their corporate language within the next 10 years.
Large companies like Biogen, Dell, DaimlerChryssler, IBM, Nokia are also represented in Denmark and use English as their corporate language.
A jobseeker who speaks English but not Danish will find that the major Danish and international companies are particularly relevant job targets. However, even in smaller and less international companies the Danish employees speak English at a relatively high level.
In general Danes do speak English very well and it’s easy to communicate with people outside the workplace.

The Internet penetration in Denmark is very high and open vacancies are in often found online at job boards like www.stepstone.dk or www.jobindex.dk, many of the larger companies in Denmark like Carlsberg use www.stepstone.dk when they look for highly qualified employees and in particular when they want to attract jobseekers from abroad.
